While we always recommend that it is safer to go through a certified plumbing technician to take care of your water heater needs, there are instances where you can get aways with using your company’s maintenance team to do basic plumbing maintenance. If your water heater system is a basic storage tank unit, your maintenance can do routine drain and flushes if they are already familiar how to do them. However, for water heater installations, part replacements, and major repairs, we highly recommend going through a licensed plumber. This becomes increasingly important for more complex commercial boilers and commercial water heating systems (especially when dealing with gas lines, as things they are required to be up to NV code).
